We are pleased to invite you to our 1st Travelbest Caribbean Golf Tournament Invitational to be held at Varadero Golf Club in Varadero, Cuba on the weekend of April 27th – 30th, 2018.
Description
This exclusive tournament promises a lot of fun moments, new friends and an unforgettable experience. A unique opportunity to enjoy a good game of golf, a beautiful beach, warm weather and a great time. With two full days of golf (one day of competition plus a practice round tournament), this will be a weekend that you will not want to miss. Stay at our partner hotel Melia Las Americas, an All-Inclusive Adults Only resort located a few steps away from the Club House. Melia Las Américas All-Inclusive Suites and Bungalows, is the premier Golf Resort in Cuba and it is also the only one with direct access to The Varadero Golf Club. We have already had a very strong response, and registration is underway. Please reserve early to ensure your spot in this fun-filled weekend. TOURNAMENT FORMAT: To be announced. Based on players handicap ON COURSE CONTEST: Contests will be divided into 2 categories: Men and Ladies. There will be Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin. TOURNAMENT AWARDS: Awards will be presented to First and Second place in both categories (Men and Ladies), as well as to the best foursome team. Technical Description of the Golf Course: 18 holes; Par 72: 5 par 5 holes and 5 par 3 holes; remaining 8 holes are par 4. Price for Hotel Package: $1,230.00 CAD Double Occupancy or $1,480.00 CAD Single Occupancy Prices are per person, and include return flight, exclusive transfer from and to Varadero Airport, 3 nights at Melia Las Americas on an All-Inclusive basis, all meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, free upgrade to a superior room (subject to availability), an extensive entertainment activity programme, fitness center, 4 swimming pools, non-motorized water sport and the corresponding taxes.

Sponsorship options available, with cost and breakdown : Tournament Sponsor - 2 available - $1500.00 - 20% discount for up to 2 players, name and logo on all printed information used prior, during and after the event, 1-hole sign, mention at welcome and award dinner galas, free upgrade to a Bungalow Suite at Melia Las Americas, a bottle of rum and a cigar in room upon arrival. - Award Sponsor - 4 - $300.00 - 1 hole sign, mention at welcome and award dinner galas, free upgrade to a Bungalow at Melia Las Americas, a bottle of rum and a cigar in room upon arrival. - Hole Contests (Closest to the pin, Longest Drive, etc) - 4 - $150.00 - Signage on the tee box, mention at welcome and award dinner galas. - Hole Sponsor - 18 - $100.00 - Signage on the tee box.

Friday April 27th – Arrival day Private transfer to Melia Las Americas. Welcoming reception and private check in. Free time to enjoy the beach and everything else this hotel has to offer. 8:00 PM – Welcome Gala Dinner. Saturday April 28th – Practice Day (Rain or Shine) 7:30 AM – Tee time every 10 minutes from holes 1 and 10 Rest of day at leisure Sunday April 29th – Tournament Day (Rain or Shine) 7:30 AM – Tee time every 10 minutes from holes 1 and 10 7:30 PM – Gala and Awards Dinner Monday April 30th – Departure Date All good things must come to an end.
